The building in which Don’s Lighthouse Grille is located was originally built and operated in 1932 as Poschke’s, the world’s biggest hamburger restaurant.

Today, Don’s Lighthouse Grille continues its tradition of serving the best seafood in town paired with a commitment to service that strives to exceed the expectations of the guests.
An example of the famous service one may find at the Lighthouse is related in a story of a visit by the actor Gary Burghoff, better known as "Radar O’Rielly" from the television series "M*A*S*H." While dining at the Lighthouse, Mr. Burghoff was treated to his favorite beverage as portrayed by his character on the TV series. His server that evening ran across the street and purchased a grape Nehi soft drink and presented it to him. He apparently got a kick from it as he went to great lengths to tell us how much he enjoyed the gag. He’s returned every time he has been in town.
